Rusty and Mouldy Blog

Yo people, I apologise for the rusty and mouldy blog for the past few months. Life is so hectic and busy till i'm so lazy to go online and blog. :P Recently, I felt that my working life is so routine till I felt a bit sian and I kind of lost my direction in life on what I want to do for my career and future. Yes, indeed this job is quite comfortable in certain ways but imagine working here for almost 3 years, sometimes you just feel that maybe its time to move on to a new environment and start afresh! I really salute to those people who can actually work in the same job for 5 or 10 over years, don't they feel lethargic? I guess sometimes when you are in that comfort zone, you just feel too lazy and comfortable to do anything. Come to think of it, it is not easy to go into a new environment again. Imagine having to start reapplying job, attending the never-ending interviews, re-learn the office culture, job scope and to re-establish a new friendship with the new colleagues, you have to really consider and make the right decision!

For me, I think this is like a temp pit stop in my life to rethink and reflect on certain things before I continue with my life journey. I pray that God will speak to me and compass me back to the correct and a specific direction. I feel that sometime in life, we have to constantly do self-checking and some re-aligning in case we go off-track or walking aimlessly, conveniently forgetting our goal in life. It may also affect our walk with God and our life dealing with people. However, the recent Lead-the-Sheep brigade camp had reminded me that the time and sacrifices I have spent investing in those boy and girls' life are not wasted. They are looking up to us as their "BIG" sis/bro whom in some way or another had impacted their life. New friendship have been made and they even asked to stay in contact with us! I will surely miss the fun and laughter I had with the boys and girls throughout the last 1 and a half years... I really hope and pray that the seeds that are sown in their life will sprout soon...
