What a morning to start my Friday!!

I woke up early thinking that I can be early at work today. Left house at around 8.10am which is 15mins earlier than usual BUT upon reaching the station, i realised that I forgot to bring my wallet which contain my ez-link card. I must have overlooked it while repacking into another bag. And there and then, I went back home to pick up my wallet and walked back to the station again. It was 8.30am and that is my usual time to reach the station every morning which I am still able to reach office on time or only 5 mins late... Little did I expect that there was a faulty train at Hougang station which is 1 stop before Kovan. They took around 10 mins to clear out the train at Hougang before sending trains towards Kovan. As you can see, the train was crowded and I could only manage to board the 3rd arriving train. It was 8.45pm! I reached outram at 9.05am but decided to take a cab since I was late. Finally, I reached office at 9.12am...Can you imagine a morning like this to start your day?? Hai...

P.S.: Felt as if i just finished a marathon...

Stay tuned for coming new posts!

Hello!
It's been quite a while since I updated my blog, I apologise for that because I was so busy with other stuff esp playing with Facebook! It is so hot and popular now... Another reason is because I have forgotten my login password and guess what? The password was sent to my Gmail account which I could not log in as well because the password used is the same as my Blogger account. However, to cut the story short, i finally able to retrieve my password thanks to my secondary hotmail account :)
All of you must have gotten bored of this outdated blog of mine. I will post new things soon. Be patient with me and come back again for new updates ya? Have a great week ahead.

Take home chef

I was kind of bored at home last sat so I decided to whip up some dish for my lunch as I was too lazy to da pao and also to save $$ during this recession period!! I was having the craving for pasta (Yes always.. (",)) and I suddenly thot of Cafe Cartel's Pan-fried Macaroni so here's Chef Foo at work...

Ingredients needed
Pasta
1 Carrot
Few dried mushrooms
1 Tomato
1 Barbeque sauce
1 Peri-peri hot chilli sauce from "Nandos"
1 Egg

Step 1:
Wash the dried mushroom and soak in a bowl of water for around few minutes. After that, boil the mushroom. Next, use the same pot to cook the spagetti.

Step 2:
Cut the remaining ingredients, carrot and tomato. Beat the egg in a bowl and put all the ingredients in a bowl. Now its ready to be cooked!

Step 3:
Pour some olive oil onto the pan. Let it be heated for awhile before putting in the mushroom, carrot and tomato. Fry it over medium heat until all the food settle. Pour in the barbeque and peri-peri hot chilli sauce into the pan. Stir fry it for about 5-10mins. Next, add in the eggs, mix it with the other ingredients and continue to fry for the next 10mins until the egg turn golden brown. Lastly, put in the spagetti and fry together with the mixture until it is well mixed and cooked.

And the dish is out!! Look, does it look appealing and delicious? haha. Finally, round it up with a cup of coke and its done!

Conclusion
The taste is not bad but just that there are too many mushrooms and carrot for this plate of pasta that I bite until my whole mouth was tired.. haha. Therefore, I have to learn to have a proper estimation of the portion of these ingrdients. In addition, I should have first fried the egg until half-cooked then add on the rest of the ingredients. In this way, it will not be as messy as shown in the picture above. Well, all I can say that it is quite a good attempt :) I will do beter next time!! :) Yeah!

Officially Graduated!

I just attended my graduation ceremony 3 weeks ago which was held at Victoria Concert Hall. It was quite a special day for me as I wore my graduation robe and the MOTAR board! However, i felt something was missing cos usually in this kind of ceremony, you will be busy taking photos with your course mate and all. In my case, I always meet new friends every semester and most of the friends that I know either gonna be graduated before or after me.. I felt quite "lonely"... Nevertheless, God is good! Though my mum and elder sis are not able to make it for the ceremony, Joanne, Mel and Delia was there with me! Really appreciate their effort of coming down and witness the whole ceremony early in the morning..Great effort for Delia too who tried and helped to figure out the way to wear my graduation robe but in the end it was still salah haha. (you can actually see the difference in the fotos in the slideshow below ;) Well, its not your fault Delia!! Thankfully one of the staff spotted and helped me to wear it correctly or else it will be so embarrassing standing on the stage!!! haha :P Ok, here are some photos taken that day, enjoy the slide show! :)

Dramatic day --> Once Lost, Am found...

A letter to McDonald...

Hi Sir/Madam,
I would like to express my gratitude to one of your staff and the team working in Great World City Macdonald branch. They have helped me to retrieve back my purse. This is how the story goes.

After having lunch with my colleagues at the restaurant, I conveniently left my purse on the table and left the place. I only realised that I have lost my purse about 20 minutes later. Therefore I quickly went back to ask about my purse. Immediately, they went to search the dustbin and look at the video taken down by the CCTV. Unfortunately, they could not find it. However I refused to give up so we went back the second time and asked them if we can search the trashbag ourselves. Without any hestitation, one of the staff (I assumed that she is the supervisor there), Jasmine asked one of the staff to bring us to the backlane to do the searching. She was so nice to ask the staff to do the digging on behalf of us so that we would not dirty our hands and instead we just stood by the side looking out for the purse. To our second disappointment, the purse was still nowhere to be found. Nevertheless, Jasmine suggested that I leave my contact details and some descriptions of my purse with them so in any case they found it, they will contact me.

To my great delight, they called me half an hour later and told me that my purse was found in another dustbin. I was very impressed by their services as they actually took the initiative and great effort/time just to look for my purse again. In the whole episode of searching, they assisted me without any single complain or expressing any dismay on their face and I would think that most people would not actually go all the way just to help and would just let the matter rest. Therefore, I want to applaud for their great services.

On behalf of myself, please commend them for being such a great help and providing an astounding services. Thanks.

Lesson learnt: Never to be careless again and always keep a lookout of own belongings everywhere you go...

Thank God for helping me to get back my purse!!!
